Pax Autocratica Release Date & Early Access

The confirmed date

Pax Autocratica entered Steam Early Access on August 10, 2026 for Windows PC. That date appears in the Steam App Details API, the Steam price-and-launch announcement and Multiverse’s GamesPress release. The current Steam page no longer marks the game as coming soon.

The official Early Access release-date trailer is a useful visual reference, but the Steam store and the developer’s press release are the sources to use when a date matters.

The official Steam launch-time announcement scheduled the release for 8:00 AM PT / 11:00 AM ET, 4:00 PM BST, 5:00 PM CEST, 11:00 PM in China and Singapore, and 12:00 AM on August 11 in Japan and South Korea. Those times document the original global unlock; the game is now live, so new buyers do not need to wait for a regional unlock window.

What “Early Access” means here

Steam’s developer Q&A says the team chose Early Access because many systems interact and require balancing. The developers currently expect the game to remain in Early Access for approximately two years, while also warning that the timeframe can change with development progress and player feedback.

That estimate is not a promise of a 1.0 date. There is no confirmed full-release day in the current official materials, so this page does not convert the estimate into a calendar date. When you see an exact 1.0 date elsewhere, check whether it links to a newer Steam announcement or a Multiverse post.

Why older dates appear online

Before launch, Steam community posts and search snippets repeated earlier target dates, including May 7 and February 3. Those posts are useful evidence that the date moved during development, but they are not the current release record. The final date is the one in the live Steam metadata and the July 2026 press release.

This is why the wiki keeps a “checked on” date on every time-sensitive page. Early Access pages, prices and platform lists can change without changing the URL.
