What is actually on the roadmap?

Multiverse has not published a complete, dated milestone table in the text of the current Steam page. The official Early Access Q&A does confirm the direction: more content on both the colony and combat sides, active feedback collection, and co-op as one of the major features the team hopes to develop during Early Access.

Steam also shows a Roadmap image in the store description. Because image text can change and is not reproduced in the page text, this wiki does not invent milestone names or dates from a partial screenshot. When a dated item matters, use the linked Steam news post itself.

Early Access length

The developer currently expects Early Access to last approximately two years. The same answer says the timeframe may change and that the team will leave Early Access when it feels the game is ready for full release. That makes the estimate useful context, not a countdown to a guaranteed 1.0 launch.

Co-op is a plan, not a feature today

The official answer calls co-op a major feature the team hopes to develop. It does not publish an arrival date, final player count or cross-platform policy. Steam’s current feature list still says Single-player, so the multiplayer briefing describes co-op as future-facing rather than available now.

Community threads sometimes mention “four-player co-op” or “after EA.” Those posts are demand signals and discussion, not an official ship commitment. The wiki keeps them separate from the store’s verified wording.

What the current build already contains

Steam says the Early Access build already includes many soldier types, weapons, buildings and Cores, plus the full colony-to-combat loop. That does not mean the content set is final. New systems can change how a previous guide reads, especially around balance and expedition progression.

For updates, watch the Steam news hub and the official Discord. Both are better sources for a new milestone than a copied roadmap graphic.
